Cut Off Frozen Lock Nut / Toilet
In 2014 I made a video titled "Removing a Frozen Fill Valve Nut". Turns out a lot of viewers were having trouble removing the locknut that secures the fill valve to the toilet tank. In this video, I show you a simple method on how to cut off a frozen locknut from your toilet tank.
You’re more likely to run across this problem with an old-fashioned brass fill valve fitted with a diecast metal locknut. The method applies to both metal or plastic fill valves, so if you want a relatively easy way to remove a frozen locknut, check out the video! Not brain surgery and it works!!
