Gerber Shower Cartridge Replacement

Gerber Shower Cartridge Replacement

This Gerber shower cartridge replacement video is not a step-by-step tutorial, rather a short look into my everyday activities. Not too many Gerber shower body’s in my service area so I ordered the O.E.M. parts.

What looked like a cut and dry cartridge swap, turned into a nail biter because I could not back out the screw holding the handle onto the cartridge. When I finally did remove it, the handle wouldn’t come off.

After some gentle persuasion, I managed to remove it. The moral to the story, have some extra screws and maybe an extra handle if you’re going to attempt a Gerber shower cartridge replacement. Thanks once again for stopping by, hope you enjoy the video!

Regards & Happy Plumbing!
Bob.
